  Windows

  1. Unzip mta-arcade-windows.zip - you get a folder with mta-arcade.exe + an assets/ folder next to it (keep them together - the game looks for assets beside the exe).

  2. Double-click mta-arcade.exe.

  3. First time, SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC" → click More info → Run anyway

  4. The menu opens → Singleplayer / Multiplayer / How to Play / Training. No terminal needed.

  macOS

  1. Unzip mta-arcade-macos.zip → folder with mta-arcade (a bare Unix binary, not a .app) + assets/.

  2. Because it's unsigned and downloaded, Gatekeeper will block a plain double-click. Two reliable ways:

    - Terminal (easiest): open Terminal, cd into the unzipped folder, then:

  xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine .      # clears the "downloaded" block, once

  ./mta-arcade

    - Finder: right-click mta-arcade → Open → Open (if macOS still refuses, do it via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).

  3. The menu opens.
